Mutton Kuzhambu

Ingredients:
Mutton – 1/2 kg
Thinly sized onion – 1 large
Tomato cubed – 1 large
green chillies slit lengthwise – 2
Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder – 2 tsp
Garam masala powder – 1 tsp
Potato cubed – 1 large
Mint – 2 tbsp
lemon juice – 1 tbsp
Water
oil
salt to taste
Coriander to garnish

Madras Mutton Biryani

Biryani has always been a festive dish at home.  Any kinda occasion, biryani holds the king position.
The madras style of making it involves cooking the mutton and rice together incontrary to the popular way of doing it in layers.  This is the biryani I cooked yesterday and it came out really well.

onion – 2 medium cut to small pieces
Tomato – 1
Tumeric Powder – 2 pinch
Chilli Powder – 3 heaps tbsp
Coriander Powder – 1 tbsp
Pepper powder – 2 tsp
Jeera Powder – 1 tsp
Garam Masala powder – 1 tsp
Ginger garlic paste – 3 tbsp
curry leaves – 5 sprigs
